On Thursday 7th March 2019, BMW Park Lane were proud to celebrate International Women's Day. Hosting a networking brunch to celebrate the arrival of the new BMW 3 Series and Z4, we invited female guests along to have the opportunity to socialise and feel inspired. The event included insightful talks from our guest speakers:
Tanya Mulesa - Founderof Cleverstein.
Tanya, former Commercial Manager at Bloomberg followed her dreams of wanting to start her own business. Melissa Cummings-Quarry & Natalie Carter – Founders of London’s Black Girls Book Club.
With Melissa having a career within the Civil Services and Natalie being a Lawyer (both the ultimate definition of strong independent women!) Through their strong childhood friendship and passion of reading/books the London Black Girls Book Club was formed. They’re first ever event was back in 2016. They have held events at Twitter HQ as well as Houses of Parliament.
Susan Caplan- Founder Member & Senior Partner at St James's Place Wealth Management.
Susan started her career within the financial services in 1986. After years of self-belief and perseverance, Susan is now on the St. James’s Place Foundation Committee. Susan proves to be a true inspiration, through supporting with funding to a variety of causes for children and young people up 25 years old.
